The DataFlux executive team consists of industry veterans. The core of the team has led DataFlux efforts since 2000, signifying the stability of the company and data quality and data integration sectors.
Tony Fisher, President and CEO
Tony Fisher joined DataFlux as president and general manager in 2000. In his years at DataFlux, he has guided the company through tremendous growth as DataFlux became a market-leading provider of data quality and data integration solutions. Tony is also a featured speaker and author about emerging trends in data quality, data integration and corporate compliance efforts. Prior to DataFlux, he was the director of data warehouse technology at SAS. Tony was a key technology leader at SAS, providing the engineering research and development direction that helped make SAS the market leader in business intelligence software. Tony is a native of North Carolina and earned a degree in computer science and mathematics from Duke University.
Scott Gidley, Co-founder and CTO
Scott is a DataFlux founder and chief technology officer, working extensively on data quality and data integration projects. At DataFlux, he provides the technological vision for the company and consults with customers, analysts and internal staff to devise a roadmap for software enhancements. Prior to founding DataFlux, Scott worked in the Consulting Services division of Seer Technologies, where he was responsible for developing several financial systems for clients in the commercial banking and investment banking industries. Scott is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in computer science.
Katie Fabiszak, Marketing and International Operations
Katie has directed DataFlux marketing activities since 1999. As vice-president of marketing, she currently oversees market strategy, analyst and public relations, customer relations, and marketing communications. Katie brings more than 15 years of marketing experience to DataFlux. She came to DataFlux from Ernst & Young, where she served as marketing manager for the Entrepreneurial Services practice in Raleigh, NC. Katie holds degrees in marketing and technical communications from Clarkson University.
Gavin Day, IT and Operations
Gavin Day is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's global IT infrastructure and has direct responsibility for DataFlux technical support capabilities. He also works closely with the DataFlux research and development group to deliver customer-driven solutions. He joined DataFlux in 1999 and has helped the company design, implement and maintain enterprise-level solutions for companies worldwide. Gavin has a degree in computer science from North Carolina State University.
Steve Leitch, Finances
Steve oversees all financial aspects of the company’s global operations and has over 20 years of experience in corporate financial and operational management. A DataFlux employee since 2000, he has helped to manage the explosive growth witnessed by the company during his tenure. Prior to joining DataFlux, Steve spent ten years as an operations and financial manager in the health care industry, first at Rex Healthcare and later at Duke University Health Systems. Steve is a native of North Carolina and earned degrees in business management and accounting from North Carolina State University.

Steve Balk, Sales
Steve joined DataFlux as the vice president of sales in June 2006, overseeing all North American sales of DataFlux data quality integration solutions. Steve has nearly 20 years of senior-level sales management experience and more than 10 years in the data integration market. Steve joins DataFlux from Hummingbird Corporation, where he was the regional vice president of sales. Previously, he was district sales manager at Ascential Software and also led successful sales efforts at Ardent Software (acquired by Informix) and Centerline Software. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering.
Ken Hammer, Legal
Ken oversees the company’s Legal affairs and Corporate Governance matters, and was hired in 2007 to help DataFlux continue its explosive international growth. Prior to joining DataFlux, Ken spent twenty years as an attorney with IBM , most recently as associate general counsel responsible for the Personal Computer division. He joined the Chinese computer company Lenovo as deputy general counsel in 2004 when it acquired IBM's personal computer business. Ken is a native of Long Island and earned a B.S. in economics from Hofstra University and a law degree from Georgetown.
Pat Herbert, SAS Relations
Pat Herbert leads the integration efforts of DataFlux products and components within SAS solutions. Specific product responsibilities include development of the SAS Data Quality Server and Data Quality Solutions as well as data quality interfaces and extensions to SAS Data Integration Studio. With over 20 years experience working on software development for SAS and DataFlux, he has acquired a broad working knowledge of the systems needed and used by customers. Pat received a B.S. in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
