2010 Best Places to Work

DataFlux was named the best mid-size company to work for in the Triangle by Triangle Business Journal. A total of 35 winners in categories based on business size were chosen through an employee survey process. Once nominated, each business needed to meet a threshold in employee participation. “These awards are a testimony to the good work done by businesses in the Triangle that recognize employees are a company’s most valuable assets,” says Triangle Business Journal publisher Char Grunwaldt. “The emphasis on keeping workers happy and productive is clearly evident among these 35 winners.”

2010 CRM Market Leader in Data Quality

Despite just missing out on its sixth straight Market Winner award, DataFlux saw its customer satisfaction score rise from 4.0 in 2008, to 4.4, to 4.6 this year. Andy Hayler, chief executive officer of analysis firm The Information Difference, says DataFlux has done well in recent satisfaction surveys and seems headed in a sensible direction, embracing larger data efforts such as “an MDM hub [that’s] starting to get traction.” Dyché calls DataFlux the “company with the most recognition on the business side of the house,” perhaps due to an improved user interface with loads of business-specific visualization tools.

2010 TDWI Best Practice Award

DataFlux was named the winner of the 2010 TDWI Best Practice Award in the data governance category along with one of its customers – a leading provider of college savings and loans. “Year after year our awards showcase forward-thinking organizations for developing and implementing world-class solutions," said Richard Zbylut, president of TDWI. "We are pleased to recognize this year’s Best Practice Award winners on their innovative implementations."

2010 FST Awards

DataFlux was recognized along with a customer with a victory in the Best Use of IT in Retail Banking (Domestic) category. The jointly developed data quality and governance platform is being used to examine multi-party buy-to-let mortgages, among other things, to mitigate risk and assists in meeting the Basel II capital adequacy rules and other transparency reporting requirements.

2009 Financial Innovations Award – Excellence in Governance, Risk and Compliance

The prestigious financial industry award was presented to DataFlux and Barclays for Barclays’ UK Retail Banking Data Governance Project, which allowed the bank to show a clear, auditable and transparent process to its regulators. The bank used DataFlux, as the data quality software provider of choice, to help them improve the monitoring and controls in place around the data used for reporting, improving the quality of the data and establishing a continuous process of data quality improvement.

Inside Reference Data Awards – 2009 Best Reference Data Initiative (User)

This award is given for developing processes that utilize reference data in a way that increases automation and productivity by ensuring complete and accurate static instrument and counterparty data to support timely market data within an efficient trading enterprise.

Barclays, a major global financial services provider, won this award as a result of its use of DataFlux technology to implement a data governance policy to meet regulatory commitments and comply with best practices.

2008 SearchDataManagement.com Product of the Year - DataFlux qMDM Solution

SearchDataManagement.com has presented the 2008 Silver award for master data management to the DataFlux qMDM Solution version 2.0. The DataFlux qMDM Solution is unique in the industry as the only currently available MDM solution built on data quality technology. By incorporating the technology to correct, standardize and de-duplicate data before it enters the master repository, qMDM ensures that data will be managed effectively. Judges recognized the importance of the product's data quality foundation, calling the DataFlux qMDM Solution v2.0 a "good, solid product, an evolution from a 'core' matching algorithm."

Yphise Award - DataFlux qMDM

The DataFlux qMDM solution received the Yphise Award certificate from independent French IT market analyst Yphise. This award was delivered following the conclusion of Yphise’s software product assessment of the professional master data management (MDM) and master data quality (MDQ) market segments, finding the DataFlux solution the best in comparison with Oracle and IBM.

2006 CNET's UK Technology Awards

Each year, the CNET Networks UK Technology Awards honors organizations that have achieved competitive edge through exceptional innovation, management and return on investment. In 2006, the Number 118 118, a DataFlux customer, is a finalist for the Telecommunications Sector Technology Project of the Year. In the past few years, the Number has used DataFlux technology to eliminate the risk of bad data, reducing poor data from 5% of company records to virtually none.
