CARY, N.C. (August 21, 2006) — DataFlux, a leading provider of data quality integration solutions, will host its fourth annual users conference, known as the DataFlux® Users Event 2006, Sept. 18-21 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The event will feature hands-on customer education efforts, along with presentations and seminars from industry leaders in data quality and master data management.
Two keynote addresses will provide an overview of industry trends and developments in the effort to build a single, unified view of the enterprise. Featured speakers at the conference include:
• Jill Dyché, internationally recognized author, speaker, business consultant, and a partner and co-founder of Baseline Consulting. • Larry English, president and principal of Information Impact International and an internationally recognized speaker, educator, author and consultant in information and knowledge management.
DataFlux will also offer a new Best Practices Forum featuring distinguished industry visionaries who will present in tandem with DataFlux customers. The Best Practices Forum will include four breakout sessions featuring candid, in-depth discussions on emerging issues and best practices in data quality and master data management. These industry experts include:
• David Loshin, author, speaker and president of Knowledge Integrity Inc. • Joyce Norris-Montanari, president of DBTech Solutions, Inc. • Robert Lerner, senior analyst of data management issues for Heavy Reading. • Ron Powell, president and editorial director of the Business Intelligence Network.
The conference agenda provides a mix of industry insights and technology discussion. Scott Gidley, DataFlux co-founder and CTO, will conduct his annual update on DataFlux technology developments to attendees. The agenda also will include several customer case studies and hands-on DataFlux training sessions.
“As data quality has evolved from an IT issue to a mainstream business concern, so too has our DataFlux Users Event grown proportionately in both attendance figures and in the depth of discussions dealing with these issues,” said Tony Fisher, president and CEO of DataFlux. “This event will feature industry insight from the experts, hands-on training and end-user best practices that will benefit data quality practitioners.”
This year’s event, the first held in Las Vegas, is organized by DataFlux with active involvement from the DataFlux Customer Advisory Board, which includes companies such as Amgen, Cintas, Intrawest and LexisNexis. Sponsors include Baseline Consulting, the Business Intelligence Network, NEOS LLC, StayinFront Inc., and Wipro Technologies.
