A DataFlux employee since 1999, Fabiszak transitions from marketing leadership to global sales, support and branding initiatives
CARY, N.C. (Jan. 23, 2008) — DataFlux, the leader in data quality and data integration solutions, today announced that Katie Fabiszak has been promoted to the position of International Managing Director. Fabiszak has led DataFlux marketing efforts since 1999, and will continue to support global marketing initiatives while expanding her role to focus on day-to-day support for international operations.
Since 2005, DataFlux has increased its geographic footprint through a UK office and a growing presence across Europe. Fabiszak will direct these efforts to increase the company’s visibility in Europe and beyond while helping DataFlux facilitate strong relationships with its parent company, SAS, and other partners.
“Issues such as risk management, compliance and corporate agility are driving the adoption of enterprise data quality, master data management (MDM) and data governance technologies throughout the world,” said Tony Fisher, president and CEO of DataFlux. “Katie’s experience in developing a strong DataFlux brand – and organizing functional teams across geographic boundaries – provided the perfect skill set to lead our growing international efforts.”
DataFlux witnessed tremendous growth in its international sales in 2007. Sales from regions outside of North America grew by 108 % from the previous year, and the company continued to invest in sales, marketing and customer support throughout Europe. Notably, DataFlux witnessed the adoption of both its core DataFlux technology and its MDM solutions in Europe in 2007, which demonstrates an increased interest in enterprise data management initiatives.
