Increased customer interest in data governance, compliance and master data management (MDM) fuels corporate growth and helps industry leader expand customer base
Cary, NC (January 17, 2007) — DataFlux, a leading provider of data integration and data quality solutions, today announced a year of record growth for the company, highlighted by its sixth consecutive year of double-digit, year-over-year revenue growth. New customers, such as American Heart Association, DSM Nutritional Products and Great American Financial Resources, Inc. have embraced DataFlux’s vision for taking a holistic approach to improving corporate data.
In 2006, issues of data quality and data integration increased in importance for enterprises worldwide. Companies in a variety of industries initiated data governance and compliance programs, which require high degrees of data quality and data monitoring to control the integrity of mission-critical data. At the same time, master data management (MDM) and customer data integration (CDI) initiatives placed more importance on ensuring consistent, accurate and reliable data, to deliver a single, unified view of customers, products, inventory, employees and corporate assets.
“For DataFlux, 2006 was a monumental year, as we released new technology components that demonstrated our leadership in data quality and data integration,” said Tony Fisher, president and CEO of DataFlux. “Organizations require a solid vision for corporate data management, and they need technology to meet the challenges they face. The DataFlux technology platform, combined with our solution offerings, provides a complete product suite that enables an evolutionary approach to data governance, compliance or MDM initiatives.”
To meet the ever-growing demand for data-intensive initiatives, DataFlux has expanded its technology offerings to analyze, improve and control corporate data. The year was highlighted by DataFlux’s new release of its core technology platform, Version 8. With Version 8, the company unveiled DataFlux Accelerators pre-built data services that extend the use of the DataFlux Data Quality Integration Platform – as well as innovative metadata discovery and data monitoring capabilities to help customers quickly move from departmental efforts to enterprise-wide data governance, compliance and MDM initiatives.
