CARY, N.C. (July 9, 2007) —DataFlux, a leading provider of data quality and data integration solutions, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the leaders quadrant of the “Data Quality Tools Magic Quadrant” report.
DataFlux provides the technology required to power enterprise initiatives such as data governance, compliance and master data management. Through a single platform of data quality and data integration technologies, DataFlux customers can analyze their data, build business rules to improve the quality of that information, and establish controls to ensure that data remains consistent, accurate and reliable.
In the past year, DataFlux has expanded its international presence and forged key relationships with large system integrators, helping the company maintain a leadership role in the data quality market. In addition, the DataFlux core technology platform – recently expanded to incorporate a new customer data integration solution and broader data integration positioning – now includes functionality that allows organizations to build broad, enterprisewide data governance programs that can enforce corporate standards for data quality.
“We think our positioning in the leaders quadrant provides confirmation that DataFlux delivers a platform that provides complete, end-to-end enterprise functionality,” said Tony Fisher, president and CEO of DataFlux. “The role of data quality continues to spread throughout the enterprise, as companies look for ways to drive more value from their information assets. To meet this increased demand, DataFlux will continue to expand its functionality to ensure our products deliver market-leading results.”
According to the report authored by Ted Friedman and Andreas Bitterer, “Companies are discovering that data quality has a significant impact on their most strategic business initiatives, and, as such, are raising the visibility of data quality activity within their enterprise information management programs. Compliance and transparency are at the top of the list of concerns, along with ensuring the capture of expected benefits from investments in business intelligence and master data management.”
