SAP Certifies Integration of DataFlux dfConnector with SAP NetWeaver

The DataFlux dfConnector technology adapter for SAP solutions has been certified for integration with the SAP NetWeaver

CARY, N.C. (July 19, 2005) - DataFlux, a leading provider of data quality integration solutions, announced today that the DataFlux dfConnector technology adapter for SAP® solutions has been certified for integration with the SAP NetWeaver™ open integration and application platform. Interfacing with the SAP Web Application Server (SAP Web AS) 6.20 component of SAP NetWeaver, dfConnector version 2 for SAP solutions allows companies to further enrich the quality of data in their SAP solution-based systems in both batch and real-time environments.

Through its certified integration with the Business Address Service - Postal Validation component of SAP Web AS, dfConnector provides validation, auto completion, auto correction and standardization of postal addresses. dfConnector is a technology adapter that exposes DataFlux data quality technology within the SAP solution-based environment, allowing companies to correct, standardize and verify data in real time as new information is entered into the SAP solution.

The certification covers DataFlux's integration with the SAP Business Address Service - Postal Validation (BC-BAS-PV), a key entry point for address creation and maintenance in SAP solutions. Address data is used in many business-critical functions within SAP solutions, such as invoicing, product deliveries, customer mailings and logistics planning. The dfConnector for SAP applications can help verify that address data is valid and correct within the SAP R/3® solution Releases 4.6 and higher, ensuring that only high-quality data reaches the application.

The DataFlux dfConnector suite allows organizations to access and implement those business rules within other packaged applications - extending the reach of a company's data management program to include business applications throughout the enterprise. In addition, DataFlux technology supports standard Web services protocols and features a service-oriented architecture (SOA) that allows organizations to create and share reusable data quality routines as business services available to any enterprise application.
