Strategic agreement between DataFlux and XS promotes the use of DataFlux solutions for XS’ agronomy clientele
Cary, N.C. (November 30, 2010) — DataFlux, a leading provider of data management solutions, today announced that it has entered into a strategic agreement with XS, Inc., the leader in e-commerce and data management solutions for agriculture and adjacent businesses. As part of this partnership, XS will help its customers leverage award-winning DataFlux master data management (MDM) and data governance solutions.
XS is leveraging core DataFlux technology to deliver a hosted MDM solution for its agricultural customers, including solutions for data standardization and data matching, and will further develop their offering to meet each customer’s needs. In addition to receiving customized support and guidance from XS, these customers will benefit from DataFlux client services and deployment training.
The first customer to benefit from the DataFlux-XS partnership initially turned to XS for advice on how to manage its vast database of growers, which matches data from farmers, conferences, chance meetings and other disparate sources. With numerous co-op members, activities and relationships in a variety of countries, this customer needed to create a single version of the truth for its full network of growers. Rather than develop a specific solution from scratch, XS turned to best-in-class data management technology from DataFlux.
