DataFlux Announces Customer Award Winners at Annual Users Event in Orlando

Five awards presented for best practices in data quality and data governance at industry’s leading event for master data management and data quality

ORLANDO, Fla. (September 12, 2007) - DataFlux, a leading provider of data quality and data integration solutions, announced the winners of five customer awards, including its Customer of the Year Award, at the fifth annual DataFlux Users Event in Orlando, Florida.

DataFlux presents the Customer of the Year Award annually to a user that has made the greatest overall contribution to DataFlux or the data quality industry through demonstrated success using DataFlux solutions. This customer provides detailed user feedback to DataFlux and facilitates frequent interactions with others who are interested in developing an efficient data quality program.

This year’s Customer of the Year Award was presented to BP and accepted by Ken Dunn, head of information architecture for BP. BP has adopted a comprehensive approach to ensuring the vast array of data across its worldwide businesses is accurate and coherent, and Dunn is a key member of this effort.

Along with Customer of the Year, DataFlux presented four additional awards at the DataFlux Users Event:

  • Customer Success Award – Presented to Freddie Mac
  • Innovation Award – Presented to Xerox Europe
  • Customer Appreciation Award – Jon Gerush, American Heart Association
  • Customer Advisory Board Appreciation Award – Cathy Willott, Amgen
