Traditionally, many data quality implementations focused on building consistent, accurate and reliable customer information. But, according to the Ventana Research 2007 Product Information Management Research Benchmark, data quality was ranked the number one technology component of product information management (PIM) initiatives, and 80% of organizations said they are not confident in their product data quality.

 

As companies start to aggregate product data for PIM initiatives, a logical first step is to begin to analyze and improve the quality of this mission-critical information. Through an examination of primary research from Ventana Research – as well as the approaches that end users can take to address product data quality issues – this webcast addresses the applicability of data quality and data integration techniques within PIM projects. The webcast also provides a view of the technologies currently available to make product data-focused initiatives more efficient, responsive and productive.

He is responsible for the creation of the DataFlux product roadmap and has extensive experience in product life cycle management with data quality management software. A DataFlux employee since 1999, Ron helps develop methodologies for the entire suite of DataFlux products and speaks extensively within the data management community.
