DataFlux Presents Webcast on "The Next Steps of Master Data Management"
WHAT: “The Next Steps of MDM: Modeling and Consolidating Master Data” In this latest installment of his MDM webcast series presented by DataFlux, David Loshin, noted information management expert and president of Knowledge Integrity, discusses the importance of MDM modeling for consolidating master data into a managed environment. Once your enterprise master data objects have been profiled and identified, what's the next step? To meet the objectives of an MDM initiative, data needs to be transformed and consolidated into a master data model. But that consolidation process relies on the ability to effectively automate the integration tasks – identity resolution, data instance matching, and determination of the best data. To facilitate this, it is critical to convert data into a consistent format, both for integration and as part of the central repository.
