Release date: 9/21/2010

Leader in data management technology also reports 32 percent revenue increase over last year

Cary, N.C. (September 21, 2010) — DataFlux, a leading provider of data management solutions, is continuing its strong corporate growth through an expanding customer base across the globe. The company’s focus on its customers coupled with a tradition of providing advanced data quality, data integration and master data management technologies has also been instrumental in receiving three recent industry awards.

In 2010, DataFlux has expanded into new industries and provided solutions that allow the business and IT sides of organizations to work together more effectively. New customers Lloyds’ Register Group, SHPS, Inc., and the Millennium Foundation for Innovative Finance for Health, along with additional clients in the financial, healthcare and telecommunications industries, have adopted DataFlux technology to help drive enterprise data management and data governance programs in 2010.

“Customers worldwide are realizing the importance of trusted data, especially in the face of increased compliance and razor-thin margins,” said Tony Fisher, president and CEO of DataFlux. “Our software and services provide organizations with the ability to manage complex data and improve the value of corporate information.”

DataFlux Earns Three Industry Awards
As DataFlux has helped customers transform their data into a corporate asset, the industry has taken notice. DataFlux was recently named a 2010 market leader in data quality from CRM magazine, partly due to receiving high scores in customer satisfaction. DataFlux had previously been named a market winner for five consecutive years and received the highest score in two of the three criteria in the 2010 survey.

The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI), the premier provider of in-depth, high-quality education and training in business intelligence and data warehousing, awarded its 2010 Best Practices award in the Data Governance category to DataFlux for an enterprise initiative at a financial services customer site. DataFlux and a UK banking customer also received the 2010 FST Award in the Best Use of IT in Retail Banking (Domestic) category from Financial Sector Technology magazine.

Financial and Operational Growth
In addition to the new customers and industry awards, DataFlux has seen revenue grow 32 percent ahead of the same period in 2009. DataFlux has undertaken strategic expansions in 2010 in key markets in Asia-Pacific and Europe. Earlier this year, Saul Cunningham was appointed as managing director of the company’s Australia and New Zealand operations. More recently, David Purkiss was announced as business development manager for the region.

The EMEA region has also enjoyed steady growth this year. Gabriele Smith, a 15-year technology sales veteran, was added to the German team in July to oversee sales operations. The company is actively recruiting for positions in presales, technical support and business development to meet the growing demand for its products in that region.

“Managing data is a global challenge,” said Katie Fabiszak, vice president of marketing and international operations. “Organizations are increasingly coming to the realization that data is a strategic asset – but we find that it isn’t managed with the same rigor as other strategic assets. A data management strategy can help organizations develop more confidence in their data and make better business decisions.”

The company is currently in the process of planning its annual customer conference – DataFlux IDEAS 2010 – taking place October 4-6 in Palm Springs, CA. This year’s keynote speaker will be Jill Dyché, partner and co-founder of Baseline Consulting.
