Extend business rules for data quality and data integration throughout the enterprise - in batch, real time, or via SOA- with the DataFlux Integration Server.
For years, companies have struggled with creating consistent, accurate and reliable data across a disjointed network of enterprise applications. The DataFlux Integration Server addresses this problem by allowing you to extend business rules for data quality and data integration throughout the IT environment. As a result, you can replicate the business rules that produce acceptable data across many applications and systems, allowing you to build a unified view of the enterprise.
A standards-based architecture to speed implementation
The strength of the DataFlux Integration Server is its architecture. Workflows can be called through a service oriented architecture (SOA) or integrated through programmatic interfaces (including C, COM, JAVA, Perl, and more). This allows you to implement an enterprisewide data quality program that meets the demands and requirements of your IT environment.
Other features of the DataFlux Integration Server include:
- Multi-processor support - Use multiple processors and spread processing across CPUs to handle high-transaction and high-volume environments.
- Single pass of the data - Process entire data sets in a single pass of the source instead of sending the data to disk between processes. Data quality jobs operate on a "row in, row out" basis, enabling high-performance processing of large data sources in a single "pass" of the source.
- Open source profiling repository - Store profiling statistics (metadata) in any relational database. The repository scales when processing terabytes of information. The use of an enterprise class database is critical as some repositories simply do not scale when processing large volumes.
Implementation options
There are two implementation options for the DataFlux Integration Server:
The DataFlux Enterprise Integration Server
Adds the ability to publish data quality and data integration logic as re-usable services through a service-oriented architecture (SOA). Organizations may visually design data quality workflows using dfPower Architect and then publish the workflows in the Enterprise Integration Server. The DataFlux Standard Integration Server
Provides the ability to run batch dfPower Studio jobs in a client/server environment, as well as the ability to call discrete DataFlux data quality algorithms from a variety of programmatic interfaces (C, COM, JAVA, Perl, and others). The Standard Integration Server gives you the advantage of offloading batch jobs to a server. Learn more about the Standard Integration Server.
