FAQ Answers

What are the products and what do they do?

  • DBMS/Copy allows users to convert files from one format to another; for example convert an Access file into an Excel file.
  • DBMS/Compare allows users to investigate which databases and variables exist within a given directory on a system. It also compares these databases, and shows which attributes are shared between them.

How do I order the software?

ANY ORDERS UNDER $1,000.00 MUST BE PREPAID

What is the pricing structure of the products?

  • Our application is priced per user, per machine.
  • See our Price List.
  • There are two ways to purchase:
    • New license - new users
    • Upgrade - If you are a current customer with dfPower Tools (aka DBMS), you may choose this option to upgrade to the current version. Maintenance is not included in this price.

  • We do not currently offer GSA or Academic Pricing.

How would an existing SAS customer order the product?

  • Department or Project License - the software can be licensed to a single Department within an organization, or licensed for a specific Project. The Department or Project must be named in the purchase order or the order form at the time of purchase.
  • Site license - A site is defined as a single office, building or campus. The definition of the 'site' must be defined in physical terms and the definition must accompany the order.
  • Resellers - Contact DataFlux.

What is the status of my order? Can I get a copy of my invoice? What is my serial number?
