Data knows no boundaries. Neither should your data quality solution.

Geographic boundaries and multiple languages are significant obstacles for any company seeking to manage data globally. To help ensure that your company can operate internationally, DataFlux supports language and data type conventions for many regions around the world:

  • Address verification - DataFlux provides capabilities to standardize addresses in more than 240 countries. DataFlux address verification solutions are certified for CASS (USA), SERP (Canada), AMAS (Australia) and other postal conventions.
  • In-depth localization - DataFlux provides full-featured, localized versions of the rules, grammars and phonetics that serve as the foundation for parsing, standardizing and verifying a wide range of data.

In-depth localizations provide unique, region-specific functionality

DataFlux's localizations - also known as locales - go beyond traditional data quality. You receive geographic and language-specific data quality rules and standardization conventions to manage data within different countries. Each locale has built-in data quality algorithms for typical data types (such as name and address conventions or phone standards) that vary from region to region.

For example, a name and address in Spain would follow a different set of standards than a name and address in Mexico, even though the two share a common language. This level of sophistication goes far beyond mere address verification, giving you more confidence in business efforts that cross regional boundaries.

Currently, DataFlux has locales for more than 20 regions around the world.

DataFlux works closely with the international offices of SAS, its parent company, to constantly refine existing locales and develop new versions.
